look guys, its not like i'm against linux and would
like to apologise to anyone whom i've offended. i love
linux just as much as many of you do. and i hate
windows just as much as you all do. but its just that
once you go beyond all the 'linux' hype its just
another operating system. an operating system that
won't work for me. and i'm dissapointed. i have got a
lot of help rom u guys. but at the end of the day i do
need a working version of linux. i get hope everytime
there's a new version of distro of linux released
(like mandrake8.0) but its always the same story. and
its not like i havent put in effort. just the fact
that i went all the way to bangalore from Pondicherry
to get "linux working" i think speaks for itself.
i'll be most glad if mandrake 8.0 will get rid of
my linux-blues. but will it? i have the dowloading
capabilities for it. would u guys recommend it though?
is it ready? cause the last thing i can afford now is
another crash. i already lost an HDD trying to get RHL
up and runin. i hope it wil be worth it.
