But then Debian has a problem that it's a wee bit difficult to install for
the average Linux user than the other commercial Linuxes. Though debian
works like a dream once installed and configured properly. If you can get
someone to come over and install or atleast supervise the install then i
recommend debian. Debian makes absolutely no assumption about the graphics
card or anything else in the system and thats why you have to configure it
right from scratch. I once made the mistake of trying to install debian
without RTFMing. and as was expected i had to reinstall. Though i installed
the system i was'nt able to do much with it.
Though if you have the expertise DEFINITELY go for debian - it's way better
than RedHat or suse. Otherwise install caldera which i presume starts the
installer in windows so i guess is eisier to install
