Another question:
Can anybody tell me how to get RedHat 6.2 or 7 on a 486 DX2 with 8MB of
RAM? Tried SUSE 7 for half the installation and it worked (only with the 386
bootdisk). RedHat 6.2 always hangs during the /sbin/loader, RedHat 7 goes a
little further but than hangs while executing Anaconda. I passed the Kernel
already abootparameters (something like linux mem=8 expert) like in the
maual, but it didn't work either. I would like to install RedHat for some
special reason that's why I don't want to install SUSE. Any special bootdisk
like for SUSE or "better" bootparameters?
thankx in advance
Tom
