Hi all,
I am a Linux newbie & this is my first mail to the List.
I am trying to connect to the internet from KDE so when I give kppp it ask
for the root password. After giving one it fails with the below error.
Xlib: connection to "0:0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorised to connect to server
kppp: cannot connect to X server:0
What is the problem. THis is a standalone machine at my home so how can it
be that Linux is not allowing me to connect from my machine!!!
I am able to connect to the internet using GNOME but not from KDE. Any
help. Also can someone give me a brief & simple way to connect using command
mode.
I am a newbie so sorry if the question seems to simple.
