You can use both the sound cards under linux... without any problems I
use one for music and another for voice!
But with the video cards... you will only be able to use one!
Why pay for a video card that you are not going to use ?
is ur Trident card better than the i81x video thing ??
in that case why don't you go in for a motherboard without onboard
graphics/sound ? you will be able to get a better performing motherboard
for the same cost!

(I have a ASUS board based on a Via chipset and am happy with it!)
most of the current mobos are capable of using 133Mhz RAM but most
assemblers tend to use the 100Mhz one! (My guy put in the 100Mhz one
inspite of charging me for 133Mhz! since it was clearly stated in the bill
I got him to replace it when I was upgrading RAM when the prices fell)
