I will advice u to keep the Creative Ensonique 1371 card, which an
excellent card. I have upgraded my machine from 166MMX to Celerone with
i810 but I am not using the onboard audio, since my old Creative Ensonique
card is much better than the on board audio and alsa has got nice support
for it as well as oss drivers (Without midi).
No idea about Trident card though.

The main difference between 810 and 815 is that there is no AGP slot for
810 as in my case, so u can not put any AGP card in future (u have to use
onboard video - which is quite good for your day to day work ).
815 has got an AGP slot for future expansion. Performancewise both are
same. I think i810e and i815 support 133MHZ bus.
