 | What do we mean by a 32 bit OS or 64 bit OS?

it's architecture dependent.. ix86 is 32 bit, Alpha is 64bit , Sony PS/2
is 128 bit !! (yeah! that's what gives it the amazing capabilities!)

Linux on intel is 32bit while linux on Alpha is 64bit

The same would apply for windoze.... but unfortunately it'll always be...

Windoze: The nap you take whileloading 32 bit extensions for a 16 bit
patch to an 8 bit OS originally coded for a 4 bit microprocessor written
by a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition

BTW BeOS's site says it's filesystem and stuff are 64bit.. don't know
how they do the conversion!
