yep, that works just fine! but just wondering how was it giving "Enabled OK"
with the earlier config... ?? with diff IO port address and irq no...
now the problem I face is that I am trying to connect to VSNL via kppp. I am
able to dial, give my login & password, and type ppp and get the dynamic IP
address etc.
however, some secs after that I get disc with error mesg: "The pppd daemon
died unexpectedly!"
the kppp help file talks abt the lock option in kppp conflciting with the
pppd lock option. but I have disabled the "use lock" option in kppp.
what cud be the problem?
