no the set up of a caching nameserver will by itself involve giving the ip
address of the nameserver to contact for uncached data. So on my setup in
resolv.conf i have "nameserver 127.0.0.1". The dns server's ( pdnsd )
configuration file can list any number of dns servers to contact. So on
your client machine just have resolv.conf to point to the machine where
you are running your nameserver.
