Hi,
dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/Redhat7.iso
is the command to dump the data.
Then i use cdrecord program to burn the CD i.e
#cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=0,6,0 -data=/Redhat7.iso
You can have the dev info from the command
#cdrecord -scanbus
here is mine listing..
[root@foo /root]# cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord 1.8 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 J�rg Schilling
Using libscg version 'schily-0.1'
scsibus0:
        0,0,0     0) *
        0,1,0     1) *
        0,2,0     2) *
        0,3,0     3) *
        0,4,0     4) *
        0,5,0     5) *
        0,6,0     6) 'HP      ' 'CD-Writer+ 9600 ' '1.0a' Removable CD-ROM
        0,7,0     7) *                                                         

which means put the dev=0,6,0
please man cdrecord, man mkisofs for more info...
