Is that a DLink card? That's a regular nuisance with it when network
load goes up. Try restarting the network (/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart)
to bring the interfaces down and up again.
If that doesn't work, you just might have to reboot the box.
You'll find that it'll become a familiar routine wherever you run dlink
cards
