I have the same problem but its Mandrake 7.2 with kernel 2.2.17-19.My
problem is that the system just logs me out all of a sudden without any
messages!!.even if i try to give my passwd and login id it just comes
back to the login prompt!.and am not able to login again until i reboot.
And as the load pn the m/c is concerened its just simple pc with only
the basic daemons running(ie no web server, no mail server etc., only
syslogd,crond,etc.,).
Hoe do i know whether ld_linux.so.2 is installed(Am a bit of a newbie:))
