no problem with dns... the mail is being rejected by the local sendmail
and fetchmail deletes the mail on the remote machine!

The keyword is "working .mc file" !! I don't have that... I edited the
sendmail.cf by hand from what I read in the old PCQ mags... (holdexpensive
and related stuff) ... should take me anywhere upto an hour and lots of
RTFM'ing ...  anyways the weekend is not too far away! and I'll probably
upgrade to a newer sendmail too... am still on 8.9.x (if I am having to
read up stuff... i'd rather read current stuff!)
