Nonono!!! I mean, use the "no dns" option in your fetchmailrc

poll mail.vsnl.net with proto pop3 no dns

Like I said, take a look at http://www.hserus.net/sendmail.html -it _is_ a
working .mc file, and I use it at home (on bplnet / vsnl dialups).  Of
course, I use an smtp server provided by my webhost, that allows relaying by
pop before smtp authentication.

Running fetchmail for that account from /etc/ppp/ip-up.local (or by hand)
first ... you wont need that hassle if you use your own ISP's mailserver.

Current as in 8.11.4 with patches (latest stable) or 8.12 beta 12 (latest
beta)? :)
