fetchmail will do its own dns checking first - you better disable that :)

You need both actually

 beta 12 is not bad at all - some people are already using it in production.

 And some big news for all the people who say a certain mta is much more secure
 because it doesn't run setuid root - sendmail 8.12 betas _do_ run non
 setuid-root (as smmsp)
