Hai,
I'm using a system with an ATX cabinet. Earlier the Power used to be
switched off automatically on Shutdown. But ever since I rebuilt the kernel
2.4.1, the system Shuts down but doesn't Power off !
The final messges displayed on shutdown are:
..
..
shutting down
power off
But the Power is not switched off! And on a ATX system, there is no power off
switch, so you can understand my predicament - I've to pull out the plug! I
tested with halt -p / poweroff commands, but the result is the same. I think
I've enabled all the requisite Power Management option in the Kernel too? So
whats the prob?
Another question, perhaps not related to the above Q, what is this Runlevel?
I've been searching the FAQ/HOWTOs but haven't found anything about it. Where
should I search?
