Changing the Subject header because we have sub-tracked from
the original post ...

Admitted:

a) Mutt can handle maildir folders
b) Procmail can also send to either type.

What I am looking for is a method to have procmail or any
other MDA to distribute to *both* mbox and mail-dir. This way,
I have the option of using mutt, pine, kmail, tkrat etc on
mbox files; and sylpheed and other MH type mailers operating
seperately for different user preferences.

Presently I have made a shell script which takes mh-folder
mails and converts them to mbox format ... I have downloaded a
perl script recently (getmail) which does the job of fetchmail
and procmail together ... trying to patch it to meet my
requirements. My expertise in perl is at best newbie+, so
likely to take some time.

Kind of wondering if I am re-inventing the wheel, in case some
option in some existing MDA does it natively ...
