See ... it depends. man procmailex (or the procmail faq at
http://www.iki.fi/~era/procmail/ - much better) documents how to apply two
rules in succession to the same message, instead of deleting it as soon as
the message hits the first rule.
If they are separate mails there's nothing stopping you from having one rule
directing mails to an mbox and another to mh folders.
By the way, pine can also read mh folders / maildirs quite easily I guess.
