Dear Suresh and all,
I am running a Linux Web Server , that has Apache on it . I hosted a site , from it
, assossiated it with /home/www/stg/docs (www.stg.com) . I also defined
/home/www/stg/docs as the Document Root (this entry comes in Apache) . Fine ! The
site is hosted .... but now I do the following :
mkdir /home/www/stg/docs/cgi-bin
#Now I put in an html form into /home/www/stg/docs that calls the cgi script written
in /home/www/stg/docs/cgi-bin
#using POST method
#At first I got an error , saying that the ./action.cgi (perl script) needed
permission for POST. I obliged (in Apache)
#Still the script does not get called .
Please help .(If you are confused by my mail please outline how you would have hosted
www.stg.com , with an Html form and a Perl/CGI script . Assuming that as site
manager , you are in expectation of being able to host more sites .)
Thanks in advance,
([EMAIL PROTECTED])
Shyam

I'm not running anything except a webmail app for myself - with mod php.
OK, I'll install mod perl and check this out - thanks.
