Hi,
Oracle 8i for Linux Starter Kit is a book published by
Oracle Press. This book also contains Oracle 8.1.6
for Linux. I installed it on RH 6.2. The
installation was a breeze. If you desire to install
it on RH 7.1, you have to emulate the glibc 2.1
environment by first exporting an environment variable
and then running the appropriate shell script.
