But as per the message, it seems that *client* i.e. Winxx
has requested for these 10000 files. And in my case, Winxx
is the client and Linux is the server. So, why "smb client
needed to open a large number of files" ?

Though, your explaination is logical, but it seems to be
contradicting with itself. And out of requested 10000 server
opened only 1024. Is this due to memmory constraint ? Or is
1024 some default magic number ?
Since my Linux internal's knowledge is a no-no, I may be
wrong. But if one's logic is not satisfied, you know it
irritates one some-where in the grey-matter. It is not so
that, you have not answered it correctly, actually I am dumb
to understand.
So, would you be kind enough, to ellaborate it a little-bit
more, ( not heavy stuff , in a para only, but in a way,
which I ( dumb enough ) can understand. ) I tried to search
some relevent matter in Samba documents last night, but
could not figure out the reason. It is bugging me. So
ple...ase ..... !

Also for a long time, I have noticed that your foot-notes
are classic and nicely assorted. Where you found this
"Khahjana' ?
Regards and thanks !
