A few reasons for that -
1. You can't find the key in whichever keyserver you are querying (key might
be on another keyserver)
2. GPG can't contact the keyserver when you are querying for the key
Just try importing the key manually with gpg --recv-keys, or arrange to meet
Mrinal and exchange keys with him ... (send the key across by email, verify
the fingerprint in person / over the phone etc).
Oh btw - you might like what turned up in mutt-users the other day ...
pgp-mime (which mutt uses) can be only parsed easily by mutt and gnus / vm I
think - at least, Outlook and Eudora, to name two, choke on it [pegasus with
qdpgp doesn't seem to have problems I hear]
So -
macro compose S "Fgpg -a --clearsign -u 0xEDEDEFB9"
And when you have :wq'd and come out of vim after typing the mail, and before
you press y to send the mail, just press S - it'll clearsign the mail (enter
your passphrase, that's all). To verify clearsigned keys in mutt, use esc-P.
