I have a via mobo w/ onboard graphics card which is recognised as Trident
Cyberblade/1i. I checked the XFree.org site and it is mentioned as being
supported by both 3.3.6 as well as 4.1.

I'll try what you said over the weekend. This is my clinic pc and I can't
really afford to fiddle too much with it. Anyway it ain't broke so I'm not
too keen I want to fix it :-).

My home pc has an old Cirrus Logic card and that runs X 4.0.3 but I preferred
the display I got with the X that came w/ RH 6.2.

Is there a way I can have both the servers on the machie but using only one
at a time ? Like maybe startx (or some other file) pointing to X 4.0.3 which
if it does not work, I can just change to link to point to X 3.3.6. Is it
possible ?

Sharukh.
