Best optimize the way you use sendmail to send out mass mail of any sort.
Use majordomo / mailman to manage users (and weed out bouncing users etc),
and also sympa / bulk_mailer to send out mail in large quantities.
Don't just load them into the bcc of outlook express and blast the mails out.
