these you need to check first. 1. your dns -- try to verify your dns including reverse lookup. 2. check your '/etc/mail/local-host-names' it should contain your local machine aliasese , for which you want to receive mail. 3. by default sendmail listen on 127.0.0.1 check your /etc/sendmail.cf for the following options comment out previous entries for this option and change it to 'DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Name=MTA 4.you may haver to add ip from which you want to receive mails. add following entry to your '/etc/mail/access' file
