hi, since last couple of months i am facing a problem of Jserv Zombies getting created upon shutdown/restart of Apache along with Jserv. this doesn't happen always, but only sometimes.
i find that the jserv process wasn't stopped properly and a zombie is created. subsequent commands to restart show the following error message in error log: ApacheJServ/1.1: Exception creating the server socket: java.net.BindException: Address already in use consequently blocking that port address. the only way out is either to restart linux or change the configuration files to have new ports!!! either of them aren't exactly viable in a production environment. has anyone else also faced? is there any solution for this???
