I am using Postfix as the mail server in my company. I want to knnow if there is an utility which scans all outgoing messages check the contents of the message and then send an alert to a particular user or users and that user or users upon their decision that the mail has no threat to the companies security should be sent or deleted or whatever they wish to do. Last time I sent this mail I got a reply saying that it is not a good thing poking into others mails. I know that too but it is not that I want to poke my nose into somebody's mail but it is the company which wishes so, and I am a System administrator in the company and I cannot refuse that such things cannot be done if I do did say so then I will have to find a job elsewhere and in the present IT situatation I cannot give such a bold answer to the comapny.And that is the main reason I switched to postfix than the reliable sendmail as postfix gives an option to backup all incoming and outgoing mails.
