Dasu,

What do you want to do ?

Do you want to make a boot disk for your existing installa-
tion, or do you want to make a two-floppy recue disk set with
your installed kernel and apps ?

For Boot disk of existing installation you may try:
    http://geocities/com/usmbish/mbf-0.3.tar.gz

For a rescue disk set from your existing installation, have
a look at a bash script by Hugo Rabson called "mindi". The URL
is http://www.microwerks.net/~hugo/mindi/

Incidentally, I am working on making a rescue system at the
moment. Should be ready shortly.

On a running machine, most of the system info used by the
kernel is stored as text files in /proc directory. Try out :-

e.g. cat /proc/cpuinfo ... for basic info on CPU

$ls /proc .... to see what else is there.
