hi all,
this one is just a more general question, i use sendmail on the linux server
to send mail from all the windows clients that use outlook express. the
header of the mail that is sent shows the servers information, which is not
registered to the internic ( a made up domain name actually) .
even though (i feel) that it speeds up the mail sending process dramatically,
does it in any way affect the authenticity of the where the mail came from.
i mean this way, any one on the windows client can fake to use anybodies
email address and send a mail.. i know pgp and gpg are good suggestions, but
do you know of someother better way.
to let me know
ps: oh btw, if there any one out here who would like to help me out with my
RCHE preparations, some tips or something? i would really appreciate that.
