There are not many details. Only one issue you should deal with. UPGRADE...

RHL6.2 is dman old and you got to stay updated for security fixes. Upgrade to 
RHL7.2 and apply all the security fixes released since release of RHL7.2. Use 
up2date...and don't install X on server..

Nothing much really..And yes, don't run any unneeded services..
