(after all the ide is on the PCI bus) > yes, that includes the hdds and there can be huge amount of data loss. regarding the pci devices, the ones that have a reputation of causing a number of problems in this regard are the scsi cards (overheating and all) basically the first negative result of overclocking is instability..some good burn in test is needed before u decide to keep the machine overclocked (me ran 3dmark 2001 in winblows for 12 hours, looping and did not crash during the test..after exiting the program tho, the first thing i got was a bluescreen;) u also have to make sure that there is proper cooling and u have got PC133 RAM modules > | The good news is that it works pretty well save for the > |audio.
