guys, guys pls cool down :-)

http://www.suse.com/en/products/suse_linux/alpha/packages/imap.html

this link says

"This package contains IMAP4, POP2 and POP3 mail servers. After installation
you have to activate the servers in the file /etc/inetd.conf"

now the question is about popper, what is wrong with that?

does this mean, to enable pop3 service, i have to install
pop3 server(imap-2000 in my case) + something that contains popper, and if
yes then what is it?

Regarding ip scheme, i am sorry but i am new to this org
i will take some time to repair this network here. I will solve it later on,
that is not in my first priority.
here we have just moved from redhat to suse and
pop3 is stopped working here. ppl is going to hang me if this is not
repaired :-).
