I have a question which I couldn't figure, here it goes.
I have connected two machines using plip. Now on the labtop, I want to
sync the time to my machine.
So, I type rdate -s <source>
the set time would be 16:32:44 at 22:00:03
But If it type the same on the source machine it returns the correct time.
Does it have any thing to do with kernel's apm configuration ? or the
local time settings ?
