Hi All We are installing RH 7.1 on Intel platform. I am facing a problem during setting up of DNS. When I used nslookup from the linux machine it was able to resolve names, but when I tried the same from other machines which are connected to the LAN are not able to resolve the server name. In other machines we have set DNS server to this Linux machine.
When I executed route command the result was Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default * 0.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 I feel that one more entry should be displayed in this pointing to the linux server itself.
