It is part of the English language now - as are most words of latin
origin.  Made it to French too (fe'ne`tre (hope my accents are
correct)), and other European languages.

Although the term originally means `to throw out of a window', it has 
also been come to mean `to throw out windows', or even `to throw windows 
out of a window'.
