Have you actually tried starting up Redhat ??

Pray list out what are these extra services that redhat is starting up
that takes 2.5-3.5 minutes more than your system ???

This is the lamest reason I have seen for asking anyone to switch to a
different distro.

Brijesh, it's most probably a hardware issue... look at the output of
"dmesg" ... you'll probably see a few lines about ACPI ... passing a
parameter at boot time acpi=noidle or something like that should solve
your problem (this is a fairly common problem with i810 mobos)
