Dear friends, Can someone help regarding the copyright issue of Redhat.
Our company has developed software which runs on Redhat. We would like give a copy of OS to all our customer free [We do not indent to charge for CD or Postage or Software ]. We would only want to distribute the free download version of Redhat to our customer. As per info available at http://www.redhat.com/about/corporate/trademark/ we are not going to use Redhat Name on the CD. The name of the CD might be "My Company Linux - Kernel Version x.x.x.x" What i would want to clarify is that 1) During installation the script will show as "Installing RedHat ......." Is it OK ? or Should we get a written permission from Redhat ? 2] All the README and other document shows as Redhat - Is it OK ? Kindly clarify regards Ranjit ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ranjit Ramachandran Midas Communication Technologies (P) Ltd. #1, Kalyani Nagar, Kottivakkam, Chennai - 600041. Tamil Nadu.
