And moreover if it's a company that's getting into linux just because of
your software I think you'll be doing linux a big favour by giving them a
stripped down version of Redhat/$distro with only the software that they'd
need/use .. A RH7.2 full install occupies close to 3GB .. it only leads to
more confusion.

If it's a desktop app ... give them desktop specific stuff alone.
If it's a server app .. ...

I guess you get the picture

Anyways it only takes modifications to a handful of rpms to remove all
traces of Redhat from the distro.
