You are caught in a classic case of vendor lock-in. A vendor builds
tools that are incompatible with everything else. You could search on
freshmeat, but I doubt that you'd find anything. The only thing to do
is to rewrite all your applications to use plain SQL. Then, you could
use any other database.
Maybe others can suggest something else.
