I'm not very knowledgable about how Access works ... but is it possible
for you to create a .exe file which will run without MS-Access having to
be installed on the box ? (I know that quite a few VB proggies use the
same backend database)

If you can do that... maybe you'll be able to run it under linux+wine(100%
msft free)
