mysql is very simple beleive me simpler than oracle 8i.
type mysql form the command line and create a database ,and u can start
using sql syntax for creating the tables.tell me excatly what's ur problem
excatly so that i can help u properly.
what is the project ur doing why do u want to use CGI u can go for JSP or
servlets, it ok iam a java addict...
