Help->About says ------------ Boiled Beans release Code Refactored at: Yahoo Bangalore SDC ------------ Someone likes "Rajma" too much ?? ;) I definitely like the new yahoo - even gives that little popup at the bottom right of the screen saying user "xxx" has logged in. I did have to make it understand that I have a newer version of libgtkhtml instead of not having it since RedHat following its tradition has been ahead of Yahoo in updating it's rpm's. The whole process does make me wonder though - what exactly did we achieve by running ymessenger.install I didnt think agreeing to the Agreement was something which needed the user to have to run two commands to install one software. It has also effectively bypassed the main feature of a package manager - that is helping us do a clean uninstall. Yahoo has given a separate uninstall script which no doubt has reinvented the wheel in all likelyhood.
