That is an argument for getting yourself either your own domain + pop before
smtp / auth (a bit less than 5k a year, if you want a fairly cheap deal -
unlimited email + webhosting etc etc). And then use the ISP only for
connectivity. Or to use a specialist email provider like pobox.com (who
charges - but provides excellent service)
Or get a free shell account (arbornet.org etc etc). Use pop and your ISP's
smtp. Or use telnet / ssh to login there and send mail from there.
