Hi,

from where does rox filer by default checks the file types, if the Run
action is not specified in ~/Choices/MIME-types. Here by default rox filer
takes the files .pps as text and when I try to Set Run Action is says
text/plain. How to tell rox that it is a powerpoint file ? .ppt files are
recognised as powerpoint files though.

Just installed OpenOffice641 from PCQ CD. It is great, but requires quite a
bit of memory. On our office PC (64 MB RAM), it was slow. On my home pc
(256MB) RAM it is comparable to MS-Office loading time on windows. The best
thing with OpenOffice now is you can load individual applications. (No
openoffice desktop :-) ).

I have sent run action for .doc, .xls, .ppt files to use OpenOffice. How to
do that now for .pps files ?

Thanks in advance.

Peace
