I tried adding the following to the Standard file :

application_vnd.ms-powerpoint
        ext: pps ppt


Still when I right click in rox I get text/plain, instead of
application/vnd.ms-powerpoint ? However the puzzling thing is that even
without adding the above statement to Standard file .ppt files are
recognised as application/vnd.ms-powerpoint, but not .pps

Anything else is there ?

I checked out entire rox and rox-base package but could not find any other
file.
