Sounds like renaming su to something else so nobody can call it. OK fine but doesn't serve any purpose. You can easily strip log to get invalid/illegal attempts. Besides a secure system is secure, whether or not somebody tries to login as root. Better not go for a step that is unnecessary and requiers some maintenance..
