The best place to start when looking for any rpm file is www.rpmfind.net. You can type the full name of whatever you are looking for; it will give you a list of packages you can download.
For the things you are looking for, try: http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libz.so.1 http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libxine-0.9.8.so.0 http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libxineutils-0.9.8.so.0 --Joel btw, if you are using Konqueror as your web browser, there's a shortcut to rpmfind. Just type rpmfind: <whatever> > hi all, > > i'm new to xine and trying to install it in my pc under pcqrhl7.1. after > downloading the rpm packages xine-lib, xine-ui and libdvdcss i tried to > install but these need some libraries like libz.so.1, libxine-0.9.8.so.0 > and libxineutils-0.9.8.so.0 which i don't have. can anyone suggest me where > to get these from? > > many thanks in advance and good luck. > > Somen Chanda. _______________________________________________________________ Hundreds of nodes, one monster rendering program.
