1) Create /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype
2) Copy all .ttf files here
3) From within this directory run mkttfdir
4) Add the following line to XF86Config file:
      FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype
5)Restart X

adding some command to the list .. 
     
Detailed documentation on most packages are kept in  /usr/doc 
or /usr/share/doc ... just read them.
