try it for yourself.  I've used both very regularly.  ymessenger tends 
to crash with a lot of gtk errors, especially regarding updating of the 
contact tree.  it also crashes when you try to change a user's group.  
it disconnects when you try to remove a contact.  it crashes when you 
receive a conference invitation.  sometimes it just crashes.

everybuddy crashes too, just not this often, and if it does crash this 
predictably, it is fixed within a day.
