the problem (and I'm guessing here), is that you had some contacts on 
your official yahoo/msn/whatever list, that weren't in your everybuddy 
local cache.  one of these persons was online at the time, and 
everybuddy tried to show his status as online, but, since he wasn't in 
the contact tree, it causes a fault.

this would happen because the new yahoo and msn modules now ask you 
before adding a new user - provided the server sends you that request.
